Well, it’s been another one of those funny weeks! I think we can all agree that this is slightly odd. I have spent the week in isolation since Saturday, since then the golf course has completely closed and we’ve all been asked to stay inside. Sophie’s cough has now gone, me and Max have had no symptoms. Thank you for all your messages and emails since Saturday they mean a lot. I’ve kept busy this week, mostly spending time in the garden which needed a lot of TLC. I’ve started running again (I can now barely walk upstairs) and I’ve been doing some chipping practice in the garden! Pop over to my Twitter to see my latest efforts.
The committee and I have also been keeping our eyes and ears peeled for the latest information from the golfing governing bodies to see what we can and can’t do at the golf club. The greens staff will continue to work on the course carrying out general maintenance (cutting, strimming etc) to make sure the course is top-notch when we are able to get back out there.
I hope everyone is well and trust you are staying inside if you can.
