Greens report

It's been a very mild December and January which is very rare at Holywell. The grass is still growing, and the course is still playing well. The ‘Field’, 2nd and 8th are still out of play because of conditions under foot, we will endeavour to open the holes up as soon as they become playable.

This week the lads have been busy verti-draining the greens, this will ensure they are in good health moving forward and should reduce the standing water when we have heavy downpours.

Moving forward the lads will resurfacing the paths in the ‘Field’ as well as some of the ones around other parts of the course.
