Lorrie Edwards Trophy report
On a pleasant day at Holywell there were lots of good scores in the Lorrie Edwards Trophy. Tim Saunders shot a fantastic round of 66 gross for a nett 65 which was only good enough for 3rd place. Tim is playing in the Seniors Open qualifying at Hillside on Monday so it's nice to see him finding some form at the right time. Good luck Tim. In front of Tim in the Lorrie Edwards was Gary Malone who also shot a nett 65, but it was a familiar face who won, Tom Collins managed a brilliant score of 64 to pip Tim and Gary. Tom has reduced his handicap from nearly 21 to 16 this season after his latest round. Congratulations Tom.
